We know our goats and farm friends get dirty. Buck is a pure white mountain goat; Margot and Duke always seem to find mud on their adventures. And dirt happens.
Our friends at Wild Republic (who breed our animal friends) hav put together a safe bathing guide for them. The animals have asked us to remind you not to skip the fluffing step. It's their favourite part.
What you need:
- A lint roller
- A damp light-coloured cloth
- A dry towel for fluffing
- A gentle soap (for extra care)
What to do:
- Run a lint roller over the animal to remove excess particles. Then, lightly rub the surface of your stuffed animal with the damp cloth to remove additional debris. (For extra care: place a tiny dot of soap on the damp light-coloured cloth and gently rub the affected area. Be sure to test your soap on a small area of the stuffed animal first.
- Allow the animal to air dry in indirect sunlight or a warm place.
- Use the dry towel to gently fluff any wet or flattened fabric to give them the full spa experience. For special fabrics, be sure to give your animal a good shake to separate long strands.
Then you ask them to stay out of the mud, but you know they will just jump back in to play.
